Introduction

My name is Ty and i'm skinny. If this were some kind of support group meeting, you'd all go "Hello Ty" and we'd move on. In a way, this blog is meant to be my support group. An outlet and a chronicaling of my journey to go from 6'1" coat rack to something more along the lines of a credenza. I've been thin and weak all my life, with a poor immune system to boot. And just to add another nail in the coffin, I have a skeletal deformaty known as Pectus Excavatum. Its that "hole in the chest" look that you see, where guys on YouTube eat cereal out of their chests. This just accentuates my utter lack of muscle tone or mass.

And thusly, I have embarked on a journey to "put some meat on my bones" as my mother would put it. I have tried several times in the past utilizing several different techniques, none of which I could keep up for a prolonged period of time, nor which showed any amount of success. I have found what I hope to be my plan for success in an online program geared towards "the skinny hardgainer". I'm not going to tell you which plan this is until I start seeing some results, as I don't want to hock some guys product until I deem it worthy of my praise.

As of today, here are my current stats

Age: 25
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 148 pounds on a good day
BMI: 10% Body Fat (measured using professional electromass-spectrometer type dealy)
One Rep Max Bench...........don't know yet, guessing about 80 lbs

I'll add some more measurements as I get them, but I am only just starting this program.

I'm hoping other skinny guys will find this and be a source of motivation for me, so by all means, leave comments of any kind. My main problem is lack of disciplin, so I'm doing this blog not only for a record of my transformation but also as a kick in the pants to get me going, knowing that other people are expecting something to happen too.

More to come.

Ty
